As if anyone *needed* a reason to Marvel-athon, but this certainly isn’t the reason for which we had hoped… Mr. Lee, tonight we thank you for inspiring generations – generations – of… Americans? Nope, for sure more than that. Children? No way, your sphere is much larger. Let’s leave it at ‘generations’. Generations of Believers. But believers in/of what? That heroism is real, sure. That love is rooted in generosity? Yeah, you’d like that one. But also that sacrifice only counts if there’s a little witty sarcasm in the mix, that alliterative names indicate potential superheroism or supervillainy (but only with an advanced degree), and that an enormous bank account isn’t always necessary for saving humanity, but it definitely helps with the rest of the cosmos!
Regardless, without Stan Lee and dreamers like him, things like Slaplaughter (maybe even the internet?) wouldn’t exist.

I'm a married, stay at home mother of 4, with a lot of crazy going on. Being a parent is so rewarding, but very exhausting! Ha! My husband is a musician/entrepreneur with a lot going on, so I manage most of the day to day and happen to find a lot of humor in all the chaos. If the choice is laugh or cry, I'll choose laugh every time. :)
